BO ERICSSON, violoncello, is a native of Skovde, Sweden and a graduate of Gothenborg (Sweden) Coservatory of Music. He has performed with the Gothenborg Symphony Orchestra, Swedish Radio Orchestra, Stockholm Philharmonic, and for six years he held the position of principal cellist with the Bergen (Norway) Philharmonic. He has taught at the Bergen Conservatory, the Music Academy in Ingesund (Sweden) and at the Nordfjordeid (Norway) Summer Music Festival. He currently performs as principal cellist with the Cape Symphony, as well as the new Cape Sinfonietta under Russell Patterson. As a chamber music performer, both alone and as a member of the Schultze-Ericsson Duo, he has appeared in concerts at the Wellfleet Library, the Wellfleet Congregational Church, the Truro Twilight Series, Music at the Meeting House in Orleans, the Wianno Concert Series, and the Cape and Islands Chamber Music Festival.
