JONATHAN FRIEDMAN, bassoon, has been the principal bassoonist and regular soloist with the Richmond Symphony since 1974. A graduate of Brandeis University and the University of Michigan, he taught at the University of West Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University. Mr. Friedman has appeared with the Minnesota Orchestra, National Symphony and at the White House as well as participated in summer festivals around the country.
