Wendy Rolfe
WENDY ROLFE, flute, just returned from the Twentieth Anniversary International Flute Festival in Quito, Ecuador, where she is also working on a Fulbright Senior Specialist Project. She has toured the US with a Solo Recitalist Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, and also annually tours Brazil. in Ms Rolfe performs, records and tours with Boston Baroque, New York’s Concert Royal, Toronto's Tafelmusik, and is the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra's piccolo player. She was a Tanglewood Fellow, has also performed at the Waterloo, Monadnock, the Boston Early Music and Connecticut Early Music Festivals, the Buzzards Bay Musicfest, and the International Summer Festival in Brasilia, Brazil. She is Professor of Flute at the Berklee College of Music and a Marion resident. Ms. Rolfe earned the D.M.A. and M.M. from the Manhattan School of Music and the B.M. from the Oberlin Conservatory.
