Brian Diehl
Trombone
Boston-based trombonist Brian Diehl is a distinguished performer and educator. He serves as Principal Trombone for the Hartford, Springfield, and Berkshire Opera Festival Orchestras. His extensive career includes performances with the Chicago Symphony, Boston Symphony, and Boston Pops, under legends like Leonard Bernstein and Sir Georg Solti. An advocate for contemporary music, Diehl has premiered numerous concertos and recorded with the Boston Modern Orchestral Project and New World Symphony. Beyond the concert hall, he has numerous performances for Andrea Bocelli and major video game tours. Currently, he is on faculty at New England Conservatory Preparatory School and Artist Faculty at University of Southern Maine in Portland.
