Matthew Simpson, Trumpet, is a freelance trumpet performer and private instructor currently based in Pittsburgh, PA.  He holds a Bachelors Degree in Trumpet Performance from the University of Oklahoma, class of 2022.  He is currently in his second year of graduate study at Duquesne University, pursuing a Masters in Trumpet Performance.  Playing the trumpet for over twelve years, Matthew is passionate about the performing arts and music education.  His notable teachers include Dr. Stephen Goforth of the Bartlesville Symphony, Dr. Karl Sievers of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and Mr. Micah Wilkinson of the Pittsburgh Symphony.
