Karen Sanborn is a reed instrumentalist who enjoys both concert band and orchestra music as well as in jazz ensembles. She studied under H. James LaFlame and Jimmy Lomba. Karen performs with the Buzzards Bay Musicfest, SouthCoast Jazz Orchestra, Tri-County Symphonic Band, Marion Concert Band, Brockton Symphony Orchestra, Falmouth Chamber Orchestra, Karen has also appeared with Tavares, Julius LaRosa, Wellesley Symphony Orchestra, Perry Rossi, Stage Door Canteen, among many others. Karen was a member of the 215th Army National Guard Band for 10 years.

Karen is a retired certified safety professional (CSP), having spent 30 years working as a safety consultant.
