Joshua Huang

Violin

Joshua Huang is currently based in Pittsburgh, PA. He earned his Bachelors through the Dual Degree Program at the University of Rochester and Eastman School of Music, with degrees in Biology and Violin Performance with Oleh Krysa. He completed his MM/AMS at Carnegie Mellon University under Cyrus Forough and Christopher Wu. Mr. Huang holds section positions with the Pittsburgh Ballet, Erie, Canton, Westmoreland Symphonies and has been a substitute violinist with the Charleston, Columbus, and New World Symphonies. He has performed at a variety of music festivals including the National Repertory Orchestra, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, and Tanglewood Music Center. He has worked with renowned musicians from Cavani, Juilliard, Pacifica, and Ying Quartets. In his spare time he loves to cook, jog, and spend time with his Goldendoodle, Millie.
